Vocational Training – Empowering Women in Pakistan
A partnership of HHCS & ARPD to uplift marginalized women through skill development
Thanks to the generous support of HHCS donors, marginalized women in Pakistan are gaining access to life-changing vocational training, completely free of cost. Helping Hearts, Caring Souls (HHCS) proudly serves as a fundraising partner for the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Physically Disabled (ARPD), a nonprofit organization based in Peshawar, Pakistan. Under a formal funding agreement, HHCS raises and transfers vital resources to support ARPD’s Vocational Training Program.
What We Do
At ARPD’s Vocational Training Center, we provide skill-based training to women from impoverished and underserved communities—offering a pathway to financial independence, social empowerment, and personal dignity.
Our comprehensive training courses include:
- Tailoring & Stitching
- Artisanal Jewelry Making
- Cosmetology & Beauty Services
- Embroidery & Handicrafts
Courses are designed to equip participants with the practical skills necessary to start their own businesses, contribute to household income, or gain employment—helping them break the cycle of poverty and marginalization.
Certified & Recognized
ARPD is officially registered with the Peshawar Skill Development Council, a government-authorized body that oversees vocational training standards. Upon successful completion of a course, participants are awarded official certificates recognized across the workforce—enhancing their credibility and competitiveness in the job market.
Inclusive & Accessible
Our training center actively welcomes women with disabilities and adapts programs to meet their needs. Every woman deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of physical ability or socio-economic background.
Why It Matters
In Pakistan, countless women face significant barriers to education and employment due to poverty, gender discrimination, and disability. By investing in vocational training, we empower women to transform their lives and uplift their families and communities.
HHCS & ARPD – Partners in Action
This program is made possible through a strategic funding partnership between HHCS and ARPD. Every dollar donated to HHCS directly funds ARPD’s training initiatives, helping us expand access and reach more women in need.
