In partnership with the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Physically Disabled (ARPD), Helping Hearts, Caring Souls (HHCS) serves as the primary international fundraising entity supporting ARPD’s impactful Outreach Disability Camps Program. This critical funding enables ARPD to deliver professional, compassionate care to individuals and families in remote communities who would otherwise face insurmountable barriers to access.

What Are Outreach Disability Camps?

Pakistan’s rural and remote areas are home to over 60% of the population—many of whom lack access to basic healthcare and rehabilitation services. ARPD’s Outreach Disability Camps are designed to bridge this gap. By bringing medical professionals, rehabilitation specialists, and essential resources directly to the communities that need them most, these camps are restoring dignity, mobility, and hope.

Each camp is a fully mobile rehabilitation initiative offering:

• On-Site Rehabilitation and Disability Assessments: Our team provides orthopedic evaluations, physical therapy consultations, and diagnoses of physical disabilities to determine the most appropriate care paths.
• Physiotherapy Sessions and Family Training: Patients receive hands-on therapy, while caregivers are trained in home-based exercises to extend the benefits of treatment beyond the camp.
• Mobility Device Referrals: Individuals in need of prosthetics, orthotics, or assistive devices are assessed and referred for free customized fittings through ARPD’s Orthopedic Workshop.
• Referral to ARPD’s Main Rehabilitation Center: Patients requiring extended or inpatient care are guided and referred to ARPD’s central rehabilitation facility for continued support—again, at no cost.
• Disability Awareness and Prevention Education: We engage the community through educational sessions focused on understanding, managing, and preventing disability, reducing stigma and empowering families.
